Friday’s line-up includes The Mary Wallopers, Valtos, Heisk, The Tumbling Souls and Sean Harrison and Band, alongside Colin Macleod, Kirsten Adamson and Emberline. 

They have already navigated plans of who they want to see - but only after claiming their prize of a pint from organisers as reward for making it after sharing a cheeky bet on Instagram during their journey.  

The Baton Relay Team is travelling across  more than 50 events to celebrate Team Scotland including festival

The party begins tonight with sold-out show Atlantic Blast at An Lanntair.

This year’s festival takes place in Stornoway from 15 to 18 July, with headliners Manran, The Mary Wallopers and The Saw Doctors, joined by others including The Peatbog Faeries, Valtos, The Tumbling Souls, Fara and many, many more.

Demand for tickets across festival week is already tracking ahead of the previous two years, with music fans urged not to risk missing out and to buy in advance.

Gaelic Singer of the Year Emma Scalpay and 2024 Danny Kyle Award winners Dàna will also feature, alongside Kirsten Adamson and The Tanagers, daughter of the late Big Country frontman Stuart Adamson.

Supported by multi-year funding from Creative Scotland, backing from NHS Eileanan Siar, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, sponsors including Lewis Wind Power and SSEN Transmission, and local organisations, this will be the penultimate festival - running from 15 to 18 July - before its 30th anniversary celebration event in 2027.
