Live Music Society has announced its latest grant initiative, the Toolbox Grant. Totaling just over $100,000 this grant aims to support 13 small music venues with critical practical support, ensuring sustained growth and prosperity. Distinct from the Music In Action Grant, which was created to support community development, the Toolbox grant focuses solely on aiding music venues for practical needs. It offers $5,000 to $10,000 to each selected venue for essentials like regulatory compliance, accessibility improvements, and ticketing system upgrades. With the addition of the Toolbox grant, Live Music Society has now awarded $3 million across four grant cycles to 156 venues, with this year's grants amounting to $600,000.

The Music in Action grant, totalling $500,000 and distributed to 17 for profit and non-profit small venues, is to help venue owners and managers in developing and implementing creative ideas to engage their communities, expand audiences, and generate new revenue sources.
