Tomorrow’s Warriors announced today that Nu Civilisation Orchestra will lead Aladdin Sane Live – an ambitious concert reimagining Bowie’s masterpiece ‘Aladdin Sane’ on the album’s 50th anniversary year, as part of Southbank Centre’s Aladdin Sane: 50 Years.
Pioneering talent development organisation and charity Tomorrow’s Warriors today announced the release of ‘I AM WARRIOR’, a single out today featuring Zara McFarlane, and album of the same name coming out 28 October, in celebration of three illustrious decades of the organisation.
The Nu Civilisation Orchestra: Hejira and Mingus UK tour will feature the acclaimed vocalist and multi-instrumentalist and Tomorrow’s Warriors alumna ESKA. The tour will explore the music of two legends: Joni Mitchell, through her classic, jazz-influenced album ‘Hejira’, and Mitchell’s work with the great Charles Mingus, that was recorded shortly before his death.
Tomorrow’s Warriors announced today a highlight of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations - the acclaimed Nu Civilisation Orchestra presents: Duke Ellington’s The Queen’s Suite, which will take place at Queen Elizabeth Hall on Friday 3 June, with tickets on sale tomorrow 13 April to Southbank Centre members, with general sale on Thursday 14 April.
