Tomorrow's Warriors x Decca announce career mentoring scheme

In the first year of the partnership Decca delivered mentoring to 13 Tomorrow’s Warriors artists. This year, Decca has increased their funding support, and 15 artists are receiving mentoring including Akin Soul, Allexa Nava, Anoushka Nanguay, Cara Crosby-Irons, Cassius Cobbson, Francisco Garcia de Paredes, Grifton Forbes-Amos, Harry Ling, Joseph Oti, Kianja Harvey-Elliott, Luke Bacchus, Maddy Coombs, Menelik Claffey, Nadav Schneerson and Sultan Stevenson.

Richard Antwi Scholarship opens for 6th round with doubled fund including additional ‘London Living Wage’ stipend

The Richard Antwi Scholarship has opened for its 6th round today, with a call out for applications from future music industry leaders from underrepresented communities with the passion, drive and commitment to make a contribution to the music industry and who already hold an offer of a place on the Music Business Management MA course at University of Westminster. This year, through generous funding from Universal Music UK, Universal Publishing UK, Sony Music UK and Sony Music Publishing UK, it offers an additional a new ‘London Living Wage Stipend’ to cover the higher current cost of living and studying in London. This will include a bursary and stipend that totals £22,000, plus mentorship and assistance with work placement that will be aligned with the scholar’s professional focus and aspirations. The 2023 scholarship pot is more than double the value of the 2022 scholarship, which was a bursary of £10,500.

Championing emerging jazz talent: Tomorrow's Warriors launches LDN Rising

Award winning talent incubator and charity Tomorrow’s Warriors announced today it will go on tour with its exciting new talent development project LDN Rising, which takes the hottest, rising jazz talent to four venues across all four corners of the capital every month. LDN Rising is part of Tomorrow’s Warriors Emerging Artist Programme. The programme sees the organisation work with industry partners, promoters, venues and international festivals to deliver a diverse array of performance opportunities to the musicians aged 25+, who have come through its free to access Young Artist Development Programme (YADP) aimed at young musicians aged 11-18. The Tomorrow’s Warriors Emerging Artist Programme also delivers mentoring, training, traineeships, talks, masterclasses, and bursaries to support artists into professional careers, with a number of exceptional musicians securing a place at a Music Conservatoire following their time on the talent programmes.
