Promotions Highlight Team Excellence and Commitment to Member Success

London, UK, 12th March 2024 Merlin, the independent’s digital music licensing partner, is pleased to announce a series of promotions and role evolutions across the company to acknowledge the growth, dedication, and innovative mindset of the Merlin team. This recognition reflects the organization’s dedication to creating a growth environment for everyone at the company, as well as Merlin’s commitment to driving value to its members.

In an era where connectivity and collaboration are paramount, Merlin’s Member & Partner Success teams have been at the forefront of driving value to Merlin members and partners. Emma Robinson ascends to Senior Director, Member Operations, marking six years of dedication and excellence. Daniele Yandel is promoted to Senior Manager, Member Operations, with nearly four years of outstanding service. Joe Danher is acknowledged with a promotion to Senior Manager, Member Relations, celebrating four years with Merlin. As Waring approaches her seven-year anniversary and Bradley nears her third year with the company, they both step up to Senior Manager, Commercial Partnerships.

The Finance team at Merlin stands as a cornerstone of strategic planning, financial integrity, and operational efficiency in the ever-evolving world of digital music licensing. This year, Merlin is proud to recognize the achievements and growth of its Finance team members. Vincent Moyo is promoted to Director, Commercial Finance, as he nears four years of service. Grace Styles, who joined Merlin in June 2021, is  recognized for her commitment and contributions over the past two and a half years with her promotion to Management Accountant. Savannah Puleston now takes on the role of Operations and Events Coordinator, a nod to her expanded responsibilities since joining Merlin nearly two years ago.

Data holds the key to unlocking opportunities and helping independents navigate the complexities of the digital landscape. This showcases the vital contributions of Merlin’s Reporting and Insights team, particularly highlighted this year through the advancements of Mili Payne and Tom White. Payne is elevated to Senior Royalty Coordinator, nearing two impactful years at the company, while White is named Senior Coordinator, Business Analytics, in recognition of his contributions to developing internal analytics tools and enhancing business understanding.

At the intersection of technology and business, Merlin’s strategic advancements are spearheaded by individuals whose expertise bridges the critical gap between complex legal frameworks and innovative technical solutions. Tolis Koutronas, now recognized as Senior Developer, Technology and Business Solutions, has dedicated four years to enhancing Merlin’s technical infrastructure, ensuring that it helps support the evolving needs of Merlin’s global membership. Nearly four years into her journey with Merlin, Katie Eckett‘s advancement to Senior Manager, Business and Legal Affairs, underscores the growth of her legal acumen in the music industry.

“As we reflect back on what an incredible year the Merlin members experienced, it’s important to acknowledge the unique contributions that the people at Merlin make both internally and to our members and partners,” said Jeremy Sirota, Merlin CEO. “These promotions and role changes are a reflection of our ongoing commitment to our team’s growth and our members and partners’ success.”
