London, 27th January 2022 The winner of the YMB Awards flagship title has been announced today: Michael Adex, founder and CEO of 360 entertainment company NQ, is Music Entrepreneur of the Year 2022, presented in partnership with the Association of Independent Music (AIM).
Manchester-based NQ was born in 2017 from Michael Adex’s desire to provide first-class infrastructure and opportunities to artists outside of London. As a Record Label, Publishing House and Talent Management Company, NQ is home to chart-topping artists the likes of Aitch, managed by Adex himself, twice nominated for the BRIT Awards and scorer of Gold single “Taste (Make It Shake)”.
From very early on, Michael Adex has displayed a gift for spotting promising talent. Now, at age 25, he has succeeded in raising local talent to Worldwide recognition through NQ. With the new creative hub NQ House opening its doors in 2021, the Young Music Boss Awards wish to celebrate the success of this young, forward-thinking entrepreneur for his outstanding contributions to the music industry.
