London, 15th February 2023 Phrased Differently, a Budde Music company, has joined IMPEL.
Today, Phrased Differently includes Budde Music UK after the London-based boutique publisher and the German-based independent powerhouse formed a joint venture in 2020.
Since its foundation in 2006, Phrased Differently has managed over 3,000 song placements, including more than 100 No.1s, 300 Top 10 records, over 100 Platinum records and 70 Gold records around the world.
In 2011, the company won its first BMI Pop Award for over 140,000 US radio plays with Miley Cyrus’ Can’t Be Tamed, followed by its second BMI Pop Award in 2016 for over 180,000 US radio plays with Calvin Harris’ How Deep Is Your Love. In the same year, it was nominated for three BRIT Awards, including two in the Best UK Single category, as well as winning its first MTV Video Music Award.
The company has had successful singles with a wide range of globally renowned artists including Ariana Grande, Ava Max, Marshmello, Britney Spears, Calvin Harris, Chainsmokers, David Guetta, Demi Lovato, Doja Cat, Jax Jones, JP Cooper, Kygo, Kylie Minogue, Little Mix, Lady Antebellum, Lost Frequencies, Miley Cyrus, MK, Olly Murs, Sigala, Stormzy, Tiesto, Tom Walker, Will Smith, Wiz Khalifa, Mimi Webb, and more.
