Bristol, 21st January 2026 Following a sold-out early bird release and early buzz around its inaugural edition, Show of Hands Festival has just announced its full programme of acts – deepening an already standout line-up with artists known for pushing sound, scene and community forward. Set against the hills of Gilcombe Farm in Bruton over the Late May Bank Holiday (22–24th May 2026), the festival is building a name for itself with a line-up that curates with purpose.
Newly announced is Oscar Jerome, the South London guitarist, songwriter, producer and former member of Kokoroko whose fusion of jazz, soul and spoken word has become a touchpoint for the city’s evolving sound. Known for his politically charged lyricism and richly layered live sets, Jerome’s recent release “The Spoon” continues to cement his role in UK alternative music’s vanguard.
Joining him is Dan Shake, the MPC-driven selector whose off-kilter house, disco and broken beat edits have earned him cult status beyond the mainstream festival circuit. With releases on Moodyman’s label and sets spanning from Glastonbury to Dimensions, his arrival in Bruton promises a set rooted in pure rhythmic instincts.
Another standout addition is Charlotte Dos Santos. Praised for her rich vocals, genre-blurring sound and timeless songwriting, Charlotte’s music moves between the intimate and the cinematic – with tracks like “Hello Hello” and “Patience” showcasing her ability to weave emotional depth into every note. A magnetic live performer, her set promises to be a standout moment of the festival – equal parts elegance, energy, and sonic exploration.
In a rare throwback to the early rave era, UK jungle pioneer Ray Keith returns to the booth with a dedicated acid house set – an ode to the warehouse floors where his career first took flight. Expect 303s, breakbeats and full-circle energy from one of the scene’s most enduring figures.
They’re joined by a fresh mix of artists spanning live soul, global rhythm and community club culture. Multi-instrumentalist and producer Dargz brings lo-fi textures and jazz-flecked MPC beats, while Ghanaian vocalist Lamisi taps into a rich fusion of Afro-soul, funk and highlife traditions. There’s also a spotlight set from Somewhere Soul, a platform amplifying next-wave UK soul, jazz and R&B, plus a collaborative session from Tru Thoughts’ Oliver Night & Rhys Baker, bridging live instrumentation with soulful electronics.
Underground crews are front and centre, too. Alfresco Disco, La Rumba and Temple Collective bring their own takes on dancefloor collectivism – no VIP areas, no barriers, just sweat and bass. They join a rising list of emerging acts including Glosolalia, Dopewax Records, Santa Leticia, Super Dupes, Summer Aisha Mae, Sam Bhok, Arabesque, Ryan Taylor, Nonna Fab and Drifty – names shaping what’s next in UK live and electronic scenes.
With just 2,500 capacity and a sharp focus on DIY spirit, artist-led curation and creative production, Show of Hands is fast becoming one of the most talked-about new arrivals on the UK festival map. The first wave already featured Lady Wray, Submotion Orchestra, Romare, Jamz Supernova, and a festival-exclusive Jazz Meets Jungle set from General Levy ft. TC & The Groove Family.

Weekend passes are now on 1st Release pricing at £145 + booking fee, with day tickets released from £80. A limited number of hot air balloon rides are also on sale, giving festivalgoers a chance to take in the site from above for £250 + booking fee. Tickets and info via show-of-hands.net.
