Various Artists Management announce John Dawkins as UK Managing Director

Dawkins personally manages Tom Grennan, whose latest album Evering Road went to number one in the UK album chart earlier this year

London, 3rd November 2021 Various Artists Management has announced that John Dawkins has been appointed to the position of UK Managing Director.

John, whose appointment is effective immediately, will be based in London and will work closely with David Bianchi, Group CEO.  As a partner at the company for five years he has helped oversee the careers of Charli XCX, The Enemy, Shed Seven and others.

John personally manages Tom Grennan, whose latest album Evering Road went to number one in the UK album chart earlier this year and has achieved Gold status. Grennan, who has registered over 1.1 billion streams, was the only male artist in the UK other than Drake to have 3 Top 10 singles in the UK in 2021 and has sold over 50,000 tickets to his live shows in the UK alone.

Starting his music industry career as a tour manager, John relocated to Los Angeles in 2003 and enjoyed success in the international live sector working with numerous artists including: Boy Kill Boy, Bloc Party, Alexisonfire, The NME tour, The Warped Tour, Rise Against, Amen, The Bled, Converge and more.

In 2007 John was awarded an ambassadorship by his home city of Coventry for services to the city after the success of the platinum selling number one Enemy Album We’ll Live And Die In These Towns. The Enemy sold over 1.5 million records and had four top 10 albums.

Other artists that John is personally managing at present include: Rose Gray, Chappaqua Wrestling, Mugun, Frankie Beetlestone, Zuzu and Elli Ingram.
